Our primary objective with this grant is to create visually compelling and impactful merchandise designs that will enhance the brand recognition of Aura Finance and engage our community members and supporters on a deeper level.

How will your project benefit the Aura Ecosystem?

  1. Enhanced Branding: By dedicating resources to designing high-quality merchandise, we aim to reinforce the brand identity of Aura Finance. Unique, eye-catching designs will make our project more memorable and recognizable, contributing to a stronger brand presence within the Aura Ecosystem.
  2. Community Engagement through Design: Creative and appealing merchandise designs have the potential to resonate with our community on a personal level. Engaging designs can foster a sense of connection and identity among community members, thereby strengthening their commitment to the Aura Ecosystem.
  3. Marketing and Promotion: Compelling merchandise designs can serve as powerful marketing tools. When community members proudly wear and share their Aura Finance merchandise in various blockchain events and meetups, it becomes a form of grassroots marketing that can attract new users and investors.

When will the grant begin and when will it be delivered? The grant will commence immediately upon approval. The design phase will be our primary focus, and we anticipate it will take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete. This includes the creation of multiple design concepts, revisions, and finalizing the artwork.

What applicable KPIs will you be implementing to measure performance? To assess the performance of this grant, we will employ the following key performance indicators (KPIs):

  1. Design Impact: We will evaluate the effectiveness of the designs in terms of their visual appeal, alignment with Aura Finance’s branding, and their potential to resonate with the target audience.
  2. Engagement Metrics: We will track community engagement with the merchandise designs, by conducting a poll, on the discord, so community members can decide what kind of merch that would interest them(hats, pen, shoes, hoodie, backpack,mugs etc), as well as the number of community members who express interest in obtaining the merchandise.

How much are you requesting for the grant (denominated in USD)? . We are requesting a grant of $1,000 USD to exclusively cover the design phase of Aura Finance merchandise. This budget will be allocated to professional designers, design software licenses, and any related design expenses. We believe that this investment will significantly contribute to strengthening the Aura Finance brand and community engagement, ultimately benefiting the Aura Ecosystem as a whole.

It would be pretty cool to get a few large buckets of African dwarf frogs, dye them purple, and tattoo the Aura logo on to their underbellies. We’d release these pepes at crypto conferences. And people could scan them like a QR code. Is this something you can design? We also need a bus.

Ehy, getting back to you on this!
After some internal discussions, we would respectfully want to decline the grant. Main reason is simple: physical merchandise would be quite problematic to manage for a DAO that has members all over the world, both in term of logistics and costs. Beside, for specific IRL events, we have already have merch to distribute.
